Our founder and CEO, Jane Knobler, MSW, ACSW, received her Masters of Social Work degree from New York University in 1976. Jane worked in a variety of positions where she designed training programs and conducted counseling for individuals, families, as well as group therapy. Through her extensive experience, she has learned a great deal about understanding the dynamics of human behavior. Most importantly, she is the mother of three sons, all of whom attended college away from home and personally lived through the roommate experience. Her knowledge of personality, psychology, and behavior has been an important asset in the development of the survey that we use.
Additionally, her three sons have taken an active role in the development of the company. Her older sons, Adam and Jonathan, are graduates of the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. Their educational background has been an asset for marketing and advertising of the website. Jane’s youngest son, Cory, completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences at Villanova University and has provided technical consultation throughout the website development.
